Proof of Citizenship:

To attend this event at the Y-12 National Security Complex you must provide proof of U.S. citizenship as follows:

Birth Certificate or United States Passport and Photo Identification

• Birth certificate must be a certified copy issued by city/county/state government with raised and/or colored official seal—hospital records are not acceptable
• Passport: active or expired is acceptable
• Photo identification example: drivers license

Footwear Policy:

B&W Y-12 employees, subcontractors/vendors, and visitors are required to wear footwear appropriate for work activities and site conditions. Examples of inappropriate footwear for work activities and site conditions include:

• Flip flops/beach shoes
• Open-toed/open-backed shoes
• Slides/mules (backless shoes)
• Sandals
• Footwear with heels greater than 3”
• Spiked heels
• Platform shoes (soles greater than 1”)
• Molded/plastic “gummy” shoes

(These are examples only. This list is not all inclusive.)

Employees, subcontractors/vendors, and visitors shall wear safe and appropriate shoes.  Examples of appropriate shoes include:

• Closed toes and heels or heel supported footwear (sling backs)
• Low heels that provide good ankle support and stability (heels 3” or less in height)
